Have you ever heard of discretion, because if you had you would not have posted that statement as it makes your organisation a bloody laughing stock; which is unfortunate and unnecessary - a bit of an internal review of your communications would have been time better spent. As OLM said, who in their right mind would re-publish that rubbish? I am not surprised that no one at the OSC was critical of you posting it, if that is the standard they accept - I thought you had more sense though. This is a piss-poor thread it has achieved nothing for you or the OSC and hounding SCB for something I think you know the answer to is simply continuing your mistake. The media publish some unbelievably irrelevant stories. Anything from, 'Vicky Beckham smiles', to 'Duck seen wandering around village square'. Yet they weren't interested in a HCOSC statement. They found it to be of no interest to anyone. Shocker...

It might have been an idea for Bernard to ask the fellow his name when he was talking to him on the phone. It's all about communication in this game.
If only the OSC had a safe pair of hands waiting in the wings to lead them forward in the case of a sudden crisis.
