Mitrovic - Officialy A NUFC player

I think the Dzeko sale is imminent after Sterling's arrival, I understand both Dzeko and Jovetic will be offloaded to Roma and Inter respectively, which then limits Mitrovic's option to £30k pw at NUFC, or £3k pw at Porto!!

 

If he doesn't sign the contract tomorrow do you think we should move on to other targets?

 

Am I the only person who if he ran a club would pay far larger agent fees than my rivals? Surely under the current system if you simply pay a larger agent fee than the others you literally have an inside man convincing him to go? Is that against the rules or?

Also, saw something on twitter, someone complaining his dad is using him for money, and instead of Porto they're going to NUFC. How ****ing lovely is it to see us out spending one of footballs biggest names!

 

I think the agent wants the largest salary just like the player. The player will pay the agent say 10% of their salary ongoing I would imagine so it's in both their interests. I'm sure we still need to grease the wheels with upfront backhanders to the agents though.

 

So if we offer Mitrovic 30k a week, with the average Porto wage being a lot less & we grease the appropriate palms, financially they have no choice but to sign for us.

 

Doubt very much Mitrovic coming here. Porto just sold their CF, Martinez so looks like they are clearing the way for Mitrovic's signature.

 

You could always go for Balotelli / Lambert or Borini if this one doesn't come off

 

This Balotelli/Lambert combination or Lambotelli could be quite good if it combined Balotelli's skills with Lamberts' attitude. However we would no doubt pick up the cheaper half which would be no good to anyone. I am sure Borini won't want to leave again as he still thinks he can do the business for you - have you tried the boys down the road - it proved a great way of messing up their transfer window last year.
