Middlesbrough are signing Stewart Downing for £5m, and we're supposedly signing a fat, injury prone and slow defensive midfielder. He was on trial with Bolton a week or so ago and they rejected him. My excitement for this season is slowly dwindling, fingers crossed Bruce has something up his sleeve.
I would be very happy to see Curtis Davies leave and quick. We have had our monies worth from him. We have better now.
Curtis having a medical at Watford was bollocks, he returned with the rest of the team and was playing with a cool new toy outside his house this evening.
Hey The vultures are starting to circle and pick at the bones of the squad. This does not bode well. I will SMS our kid for any incoming transfer news. I remain your obedient servant Big Vern.
http://metro.co.uk/2015/07/15/crystal-palace-ready-to-sign-dame-ndoye-in-5m-transfer-deal-5297034/ Looks like NDoye is possibly off for a reasonable fee, will we see a striker in? Hopefully Gray from Brentford for about the same money, IMO the best option for that sort of money
It was like one of those segways, but with no handlebars, just a footplate with wheels at either end, lean forward and it goes forward, lean back and it goes backwards. The base was all lit up will blue LED's, his missus was trying to ride around on it while carrying a cat, which was a little odd. He lives next door to my office and my office car park was his missus racetrack, he was very friendly, I was going to have a go, but I thought I'd make a twat of myself and I don't really like cats.
We didn't get relegated because of any of those players. Not one of them had a bad season except maybe Meyler, but he looked good in spells too. We got relegated because we didn't score anywhere near enough goals. Up front we had internationals who've played in top leagues around the world, so presumably they count as Premier League players for you. But they're the ones most culpable for our relegation.
Agreed. Our first choice GK went missing Our Captain and CB played **** sulked and was dropped. Our first choice CM pairing went to total ****e. Jelavic injured too much. Hernandez disaster. N'Doye good then lost his bottle. Spine of the team went to pieces.
I'd wager you've never even seen him play in the flesh and here you are praying he breaks down with his knees so you can be proved right on a forum. Even though no one disagreeing and saying we should definitely sign him. We're all just hoping he gets a few last years of his career with a manager who gets the best out of him. Sick ****.
I agree we didn't score enough goals, but we also lost games through conceding goals from poor defending and weak midfielding. Perhaps I was a little harsh on them, but I thought our strength in depth last season was terrible. Those players that we used as a makeshift spine of our team weren't solely responsible for us losing, but they didn't really help. It was nice to see the effort, but it wasn't nice to see the opposition carve us open over and over.
I sell them in my shop, they're Airboards, only £599 if anyone wants one. Made by the Airwheel company, which also do single wheels you straddle. They do about 12 mph flat out and can be quite dangerous imo...
