It was a joke. All driving bans should be for life. There is no excuse for speeding, drunk driving, dangerous driving etc as they kill.
I don't agree with reduced bans for mitigating circumstances. They are not thinking about those circumstances when they carelessly putting their own life and more importantly other peoples lives in danger, so why should the courts consider them when handing down a punishment? To be facing a ban you have to repeatedly and consistently drive poorly, some time away from the wheel, however inconvenient it may be is needed. At least then people might appreciate their license rather than take it for granted.
Castle Hill to Willerby should be a 60, it's a dual carriageway with no residential, I've no idea why it's a 40. That said, I'm surprised they accepted any mitigating circumstances from him after he was nicked for driving while disqualified previously.
I've seen some scooters go past me at 90mph! Mind you I was driving at 70mph on the other side of the road
I completely agree. It is something that needs removing from society. Heavy punishment is the only way to cut dangerous driving. It is a stupid and selfish act that puts the driver and others at risk.
The dual carriageway between Castle Hill roundabout and the Wiillerby roundabout doesn't actually go past a hospital, Castle Hill is on the road into Cottingham and the mental health hospital closed in 1997 you clueless dipshit.
I always wondered who the fat balding old man pretending it is still the 60s with his scooter was. Bastard keeps nearly running me over when I am on day release.
There is a mental health unit at castle hill. It is next to were the pathology unit was before they moved that to the new part of hull royal. I am very well aware that delapole closed in 97. It is a requirement that all roads around and near the hospital or any hospital have a 40 limit you dipshit . You are clearly not the oracle so why pretend that you know what goes on on a hospital site in every degree. Jesus Christ you are arrogant.
