Good Morning Everyone, It's the match everyone has(n't) been talking about. Leeds travel up to Bootham Crescent this evening to play the mighty York City. Leeds will be without Luke Murphy who has undergone surgery and will miss the beginning of the season and new signing Tom Adeyemi whilst his fitness levels are assessed. What changes would you make to the team? What formation would you play? Live audio on the following link :- Tom Adeyemi has signed on a season long long, with a fee of 1m beig agreed for the 23 year old. Good business or not? Adam Drury is at Elland Road this week, and looking to win himself a contract. He is expected to play a big part in tonights match. The ex Citeh right back knows Rosler from his academy days. Rosler will make a decision on the younger before the squad fly out to Austria. Taliking about Rosler, he has let it be known that we are now only looking for a reserve keeper, and a left winger, then our Summer signings will be complete. Thoughts.
Morning all, not too fussed what formation we try, I just hope Rosler is quick to see it either will or won't work for us next season. Unless we sign a left winger who is 'fantastic' our signings this season will leave me feeling a bit empty and very hopeful that Rosler can get more out of the squad than Redfearn did. We just need to see which players will be leaving now, I am surprised we never brought in another CB

Morning all. Adeyemi is good business particularly with the try before buy idea. Such a pity we couldn't have done that through the years with the hundreds of flops we signed on three and four year contracts. Would have saved a fortune. Hope our boo boys we and glory stay away tonight and stop upsetting the players
Good morning to Matt and Birthday boy WJ he looks 21 but perhaps he could be a wee bit older Significantly Martyn Woolford signed for the Blades yesterday he's a left winger and guess what Jamie Murphy is yes a left winger and Rosler said as Matt has pointed out we are looking to sign a left winger and a reserve goalkeeper so could the swap deal be still on Sharp for Murphy plus cash I hope so Murphy our Luke has signed a new 4 year contract at supposedly reduced wages well it shows that not all footballers are greedy!
Morning ristac, I understand what you are saying, but I think the signings have been sensible ones, and there is always the loan window. Byram, Taylor, Cook, Mowatt and probably Silvestri would walk into most teams in the Championship. Murphy, Wood and Beradi (if he keeps the same form as the end of season) would not be that far off imo.
Sorry I totally agree we have signed potentially another big lad with a good engine in Adeyemi. The right age and this will dispense with any more Barton rumours thank goodness. To me not much of a gamble because if he fails he goes back Adam Drury I hope he does sign and does significantly better than his name sake who played about 2 games for us in 2 years!
Morning Mike, it's WJ's bithday eh, hhmmmmm.............. If WJ is only 21, how come the only pics of him are in black and White? I agree with you about Murphy coming to us, now Woolford has gone to the blunts.
Leeds United head coach Uwe Rosler is ready to lay down the law to his players during their pre-season training camp. Rosler told Radio Yorkshire he intends to spend time talking to his squad about off-field issues, and players adhering to their responsibilities. The German was asked specifically about Giuseppe Bellusci being involved in exchanges with fans during Leeds' friendly against Harrogate, having been booed by a section of the support. Bellusci has not been shy about responding to his critics via Twitter either, continuing where he left off at the end of last season. On Saturday he sent a message via Twitter expressing his displeasure at the reaction to his involvement against Harrogate. Rosler chose not to respond to the Bellusci situation itself, but said that he intended to address such situations before the season begins. He told Radio Yorkshire: "In training camp we will sit down and talk about targets for next season, about code of conduct, about responsibilities we have for our club for our supporters for our town. "At the moment I'm seeing things and noticing things, they will be addressed, it's the right way." Bellusci is not the only player to cause a stir on social media, with Billy Sharp last season favouriting tweetsfrom fans expressing their displeasure he had been left out of the side for Edgar Cani. A fair point perhaps, but if players are allowed to publicly undermine their boss' team selection then it makes for an unhappy camp.
I'm hoping Drury impresses and we sign him (ontop of a reserve goalie and left winger). He can play in a couple positions from what I hear as well and is very pacey.
Morning all, not around today as i'm in an all day work shop. Hope when i'm reading back we got some good news. Happy birthday White Jock
Adeyemi could be good or crap. The 2 strikers could be good or crap. However if these players work out we won't be far away from play offs this term. I agree with Elland as we have the base with our kids of a very good team, and if Murphy comes back stronger and does what he can do we will be good. We need to remember we are a team of kids and if they get frustrated they will fail, young Drury could be great too but why did City off him? Fingers crossed and stuck in hairy pie
Many thanks Matt wow we have got a real find with this lad big and strong and good vision .He will definitely be bought at the end of the seasondidn't see quite enough of whether he cold shoot with his left foot but I was suitably impressed
