Opensource information is available for everybody to see, such as what Smug's written above and what I'm writing here. If the information is incriminating then the police can go ahead and request user account details, or if denied, they can escalate the case and have a warrant issued to extract the information on the account. This happens almost every day, with 'Twitter Trolls' being arrested. Smug's only written an inference, it's nothing. FWIW the data protection act isn't worth the paper it's written on.
I wouldn't want Smug knocking on my door after doing him wrong haha! He is actually an imposing, albeit very delightful, chap! However I've met him! For what it is worth, nothing on his OP actually states anything malicious no don't think you can be done on an inference! Good luck in court. I hate people like that so I hope he gets sent down!
All Smug needs do is give the chap an old SAFC shirt and drop him off in it in the Bigg Market after the next derby game
the worlds gone ****ing mad. "I'm a bit deflated, to be honest," he said..........thats worse than one of MrRaw puns.
That doesn't tell the whole story, apparently in a previous away game a fellow supporter was ejected for refusing to hand over an inflatable beach ball, so the following away game, as a tribute, they all brought inflatables. They were everywhere, The head steward made the utterly brain dead decision to have his stewards challenge everyone with inflatables and had then piling into the crowd to remove people. The steward who was hit with the shark was accidentally struck by this bloke who was waving his inflatable unaware he was about to be physically grabbed. The only way a roll of paper is going to do damage is if it's used in a prodding motion not an axe motion. Whole thing is a load of **** caused by a head steward who made the wrong decision. Can't believe a judge swallowed that crap.
I can just see MrRaw rushing out now to buy an inflatable crab to attack a steward.. What do you reckon his pun would be? ' The steward was out of control, I was nipping it in the bud'
I know all this sounds a bit dramatic and 'avenging angel' shyte but that's how I am for my sins. I obviously hope he cops a long sentence so I have no need to pop round but who knows? Even if he just slams the door in my face, and I can't get in, he'll never know when I'll be back ... not nice for anyone tbh.
You need a username change.. How about.. 'Rent collecting near to you & smug about it'.. Just an idea mind.. Hey mate, I hope he gets nailed one way or the other & thanks for sharing..
Fully deserved that he goes down for that, not sure about the inference of violence like, I would never encourage that. Bang out of order IF that is the inference, IMO, and going way over the top. As an aside Smug, why did you get the hells angel's involved? If there was a financial transaction with this bloke it would have been an incredibly easy 5 minute job for the police to catch up with him?
You would think so wouldn't you? However the police were reluctant to get involved until there was no chance that the tickets would arrive, obviously kick off time on matchday. Until the tickets failed to appear there was no fraud so the police couldn't, or wouldn't, act. That would be no good to me and, at that point, I'd already 'seen' the tickets so thought there was a chance I'd be the client to actually get them. They actually existed, I'd contacted the company who's corporate tickets they were and they confirmed they were real. That's the point when I did the bank transfer. As you can guess he'd simply 'sold' the same tickets to dozens of 'clients'. In the meantime we found the office he was working from in Kettering, now closed, and he was spoken to there. One of the Mods, who works in banking, actually knew of his account and gave me some information that I obviously can't repeat on here. I was still living in France at that point so unable to do anything personally and had to ask for help from people in the locality who wouldn't worry about paying someone a visit. I didn't want my sons becoming involved in a confrontation but knew some lads who few people would confront. We'd spoken to two different people and didn't know how many were involved. When it became obvious that there was no chance of getting the tickets I involved Northampton police. The officer in charge of the case, who I've been dealing with, turned out to be from Consett! She's been excellent and I can't praise the police enough for the way they've handled it. BTW, I don't give a monkey's what you think is 'bang out of order' or 'way over the top'. We all have to live with the consequences of our actions. Anyone who's decent with us finds we're twice as generous back as a few on here would testify. However, anyone who tries to steal from us, or whatever, has just ripped up the rule book and they'll find we're 10 times worse in return.. If people want to play without rules they can't complain when we do the same.
