Think we're doing Benteke a disservice. Not being Lacazette doesn't make him Carroll mk 2. He has to be judged on his own merit. Fee wise have heard everything from 32m (unlikely as that's his release clause and the player has made clear he wants out) to 22 rising to 26 + Lambert (usually rubbish).
yup.... its not filled in yet so its too close to off to be anywhere near a sell out. we were here two years ago. the crowds are well down on that and excitement too. you could tell from pics we have seen... ergo... time to park this location for 5 years.
That doesn't mean anything... Torres, Suarez, Sterling all not for sale. The picture is pretty clear... local journalists say he's asked to leave, his friends all told he's going, one retweeting a 'welcome to Liverpool message'... Villa won't be able to get his release clause unless another club bids and forces us to meet it or exceed it.
That's bullshit. Villa have said they're not selling him, and he'll only leave if someone triggers his release clause and that's what'll happen. Watch ............and then feel free to come back and tell me I was right
I hope that is the case but I wouldn't be surprised if they accept £27m (approx) plus a couple of players.
They won't enter negotiations unless the clause is triggered imo. Once that happens then maybe a deal could be done to include some cast offs, but it'd depend on whether Sherwood wants any of your surplus. Lambert? maybe?
If we trigger the clause then we don't need to give them players. But I hope you're right in that Villa won't budge.
I know, but once you do, then the possibility of a player swap might suit them, who knows. Villa won't budge, but that won't stop you buying him It's a done deal mate, prepare yourself
That's Tobes' point. None of them were for sale so it took massive fees to buy all three of them. Benteke won't be allowed to move on the cheap, he only signed a new deal a year or so ago.
