    Here's the link: -

I have to say I haven't been that impressed with him but maybe he didn't get the opportunities he needed. For a big lad I feel he gets pushed off the ball too easily and appears a bit leggy. If Leeds can develop him to the player we expected then it will be our benefit in 2016/17 although somehow it seems his face doesn't fit. I will be surprised if he comes back.

Maybe that frees up a place in the squad and wages to bring in a player who will add something.

Like him or not, he was never given a chance. He was clearly not an option for Slade to replace either Whitts or Gunnar in a 4 man midfield and that's where the problem lies. He either sat the game out on the bench or wasn't on it at all. He'd have brought some energy and bite through the centre of the park in the right setup.

The fact is we lost the vast majority of out games last season in midfield. If Slade doesn't replace Adeyemi with a class contender for one of those positions or play a third man in there from what he's already got, we're going to see a lot more of the same.

That's not talking the side down, just an honest opinion from someone who sat there and sometimes struggled to watch all 23 of our home league games last season.

If we can develope him, then we will take up the option to sign him permanently.will only go back to Cardiff if he's no good I'm afraid, hope we get a good player and you get some money but not holding my breath on this one.

City will rue this. A talented strong midfielder who Slade just does not rate.

    Slade is a clown.

Agreed, Ninian. A player who needed a proper run.

LCW - Do you have an option to buy? That's not in the article I posted above.

Our guys - we will have to agree to differ, while he did not get many opportunities, I didn't see enough to make me believe he could do what we needed. Yes, he is big but for me he didn't impose himself as much as his physicality should have allowed him to do. He did not win as much ball as he should have and got knocked off it too easily. You could be right and with an extended run, he might have grown in confidence but rightly or wrongly that didn't happen due to Slade's faith in Whitts and Gunnar.

I'm sure we will all keenly watch his development at Leeds.

That's the point I was making Bluey - the guy didn't get a chance. We'll never know how effective he could have been given a fair crack of the whip.

Slade persistence with a Whitts/Gunnar combo in the middle of the park in a four man set up was a prime reason for our sluggish performances and consequential poor results.

Another player not given a chance but I thought he had potential. I think Leeds have an option to buy for £1m at the end of the season and, if that's the case, it's a shame. If he does well for Leeds this season he could have been a valuable asset for us and worth more.

Careful with use of the word "mint" LCW. You could upset a few sheep.

Yer think you may be right sounds like the fee is still being negotiated, but hope you don't forget to get it all done before he plays.Pulled out of 1 deal after a loan player had played his first game the other year and Cellino decided he wasn't any good.Still going through the courts.<laugh>

True, Cellino wants to play by his own rules. <doh>

We thought our owner was mad as a box of frogs until Cellino came on the scene.

So unusual for Leeds and Cardiff to have something in common. <yikes>

I have it on good authority that the Cardiff Dragons bungee jump club are looking into buying a rope for next season - good news <cheers>
