Man Utd are inevitably going to buy at least one striker and a couple of defenders. I'd say Man Utd are attempting to buy the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.

If your a fan of any of the following clubs; Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea - then you can't accuse anyone of trying to buy anything because they all spend over inflated and exortinate prices on players which effectivley ruin the game and render the league system largely pointless.


I really don't understand the logic to a point at Man Utd. Where do you fit in;

Good thread. I cannot believe we've not spent much more this summer. We need to have two £20m+ Players for each position. A top GK, CB, and striker should do it. Woodward, keep that ****ing wallet open.

 

Easy, it's called having a squad of good players, we aren't Arsenal with only 5 defenders at the start of a PL season.

Surely that has been Utds problem in that there wasn't enough quality in the squad. LVG has most definitely addressed that issue this summer with more on the way. If they sign Cavanni or Lewendowski they'll have by far the strongest squad now.

 

Rather be buying titles than desperately trying to buy relegation like some clubs
