Morning Dave this lad was bought by Solsker for £1m from Brum.The brum manager if you can call him that Lee not a clue Clarke complained bitterly about it but then he always carps about anything! Once Slade came in the boy lost favour and was surplus to requirements and has Rosler has this lad before he has taken a punt .I for one hope it works out He is a box to box player with a good motor bought to replace Austin and as someone said Murphy perhaps and yes I agree it could be that by getting Murphy to sign a new contract we maybe able to extract a bigger transfer fee Hope you are well Mike
Afternoon all, Time to calm down if you want Murphy to leave. I know Cellino has previous with Smith's extension, but I believe this one to be genuine. He's just had an op & will be out for weeks, missing the transfer window. So who is going to sign someone who's injured & still has pre-season to do? I sincerely hope Bianchi doesn't go either. He really is a gifted player in the mould of Gary McAllister. If only some people would watch him play rather than rely on Twitter & such. Don't know anything about this new lad. Hope he's better than Austin, but I doubt it. I for one would have kept Austin. Redders hadn't a clue, playing him of all places on the wing on occasion. Can't have helped Austin's confidence to be dropped, played out of position, dropped, dropped, played out of position etc. We saw the best of him in the second half of the season when he was given a run. He was feckin' awesome & scared the living daylights out of loads of players he closed down. Sadly missed & if played right, will be a thorn in our flesh this season.
Hi Mike. Re Stokes he has been scoring on a regular basis at Celtic but could he do the same in FL. He did play for local Sunderland but he crossed swords with manager re behaviour. He has probably grown up since then !.
Adeyemi came through our youth system and I truly thought he was going to be the next big thing for us when I first saw him. Don't really know where it all went wrong for him but at 23 he still has plenty of time to fulfil his true potential. Skilful hardworking player, Rosler knows all about him and I reckon he could do well for you
