the guy was borderline ******ed anyway. usually drinks cider but it was a special occasion so he thought he would push the boat out a bit and order a glenmorangie, the pub didnt have any so he said any whisky then. <philistine>
I also have to laugh at these people that buy wine in a carton How wrong is that? I don't even like wine when it comes in a screw top bottle.
You get really good wine in France in a carton, better than most of the over-priced piss sold in this country.
There's a brewery up here... mind you, you'll probably know it... Holt's? The strength is the same as any other beer but it gets you bladdered quicker and the hangovers are hellish. I've never had any problem with Stella though.
Not round our way but then I am from the sticks. We have to travel a brave distance to get a good bottle of wine
Yup, tried the Holts I was ok with Stella for a few years then started to black out and got ****ed off with not remembering how I spent the night whilst emptying my bank account
we used to buy 4 litres of wine in Oz for 10 dollars. it was disgusting but for that price you cant complain. It was strong as **** please log in to view this image <shudder>
Discovered the bolivian after that period funnily enough and never had the memory problem, but twice the money issue with the monday psychosis as well
