Good Morning Everyone, Luke Murphy is set to sign a two yeae extension at the club. This will keep him at Elland Road until 2018. If you missed it last light, we are about to sign Tom Adeyemi on a season-long loan from Cardiff City. The deal for the 23 year old will give Leeds the option to buy him next Summer. He was at Thorp Arch last night undergoing a medical. As revealed last night, Cellino has bought back the catering rights at Elland Road. Cellino told the club's official website: " "A lot of these assets like the club’s Conference and Banqueting businesses had been sold off over the last 10 years and this has been a contributing factor in the club’s financial losses. "Owning our own Conference and Banqueting business again is a significant move towards making Leeds United Football club financially viable on a long term basis. "The Elland Road Stadium is another important asset that is high on the list of priorities for me to bring back into club ownership."
Morning Elland and all. Once again, thankfully all good positive stuff. Not everyone can handle it of course
Good Morning Matt from a cloudy Bardsey Tom Adeyemy was bought by Solskar for £1m last season .He is a holding midfield player and has had a loan spell at Bradford .Another strong 6 feet 1 strikes me that we will have the youngest and tallest squad in the league. All our recent signings have been over 6 feet.I don't know anything about the lad except he's box to box and has played for Rosler before I think that the Sharp transfer will be concluding anytime soon We still need some wide boys now
This is the club that just keeps on giving ........... I'm not fussed about the Cardiff kid so far as Birmingham were bigging him up 2-seasons ago so why sell him? OK it could be they needed the dosh so I get it, but this kid is now 23 and his injuries have held him back and now he aint good enough for Cardiff City, come on if he was all he's made up to be he would be playing regular fooitball? If we take him lets hope Rosler knows what he's doing, but yet another young midfielder in an narrowing midfield as there aint room for wingers, unless we're now selling Mowatt. 23 is ancient these days and not many make it big especially when they were supposed to be ahead of their time as a kid.
Hope this quote from a cardiff fan turns out right. [City will rue this. A talented strong midfielder who Slade just does not rate. Slade is a clown]
There's a lot on twitter saying he is very good. I'm just not sure its really someone we require at Leeds, I guess he could be a good replacement for Rudy
Morning all. Just looked up Tom Adememi and find that: " On 20 January 2015, Adeyemi received the man of the match award in a 2-1 defeat against Middlesbrough." It is still odd that Cardiff are letting him go... but a much bigger BIGGER club might be just the thing he needs. Interesting times ahead.
Morning All I'm wonder if we're trying to get as much as possible for Murphy and that's why he's got a new contract. We saw it with Smith. The Cardiff kid is meant to be good so I'll welcome him with arms wide open so I expect to see the back of Bianchi or Murphy. He was Birmingham's young player of the year a couple of seasons ago.
I don't see why we need Adeyemi but on a positive I can't see him being a Cellino find so I am assuming Pearson, Rosler and the new recruitment guy are being listened to. Morning
