Bastien is a very good signing.
This however is a great signing and could be the catalyst for you winning the league. Schneiderlin is world class and the best box to box midfielder in the league.

Kane is a gayer, and at this point in time will not improve UTD to pay more than £20m

Ahhh the irony of buying a box to box midfielder when our manager prefers playing side to side :bandit:

This post ensures we will never play side to side again. :bandit:

That would have required a certain level of #planning though.

A great player, but is he past his best? He seemed to disappear in the few games I saw him play last season.

    No, thought not.

Tbf, to get full on excited about Di Maria wasnt wrong, at the very least it's not equally as bad as writing Di Maria off after one season.

He did the same about LvG too :p
Di Maria I could kinda understand, he had proved himself consistently at the top level.
Kane has had one season of football.......

Chelsea are not paying 250k and that's due to the fact that he played badly at united, we refused to sign him and his stock dropped. Hence he was desperate to be back in the premier league to prove himself even taking a pay cut.

I don't think we could have loaned him a second time, it was an option to buy and his price is around 40k, and wages would be around 200k. Doesn't make sense for a player that managed 4 goals. Did u watch him in copa America? Very terrible. He is trying too much to get back on top. I know he's still quality, just needs time and a couple of goals to get his confidence back, but does van gaal really have that time?

We had no contract. He clearly wanted to stay so we get the second loan term on different terms, similar to what Chelsea have now paid. He doesn't accept, he doesn't get to stay, simple.

Anyway, it's immaterial. The point is though, and this is where we agree, it's stupid to buy a top class striker on top class wages to sit on the bench. We need someone who would be willing to do so, and they aren't going to be easy to identify.

I reckon, as stated earlier, Kane fits that bill.

There's a whole different argument evolved since but I will say this, I can spot the potential in Kane. Something that wasn't there in the names being bandied about by way of comparison. It's pretty clear.

Darren Bent? The Geordie fat boy with the pony tail? Don't make me laugh, they were clearly never anywhere near as good. Ever, at any point.

Yes Kane would be a perfect fit. He is still young and hungry and he will definitely get a couple of games even though he would be back up. If he can get 20-25 games in his first season that would be an achievement.

About falcao, cmon man no manager on earth will keep him after that absymal season he had with us.

UIR loves the glamour (main reason why moyes failed to impress - no glam). He covets the big names and they don't come much bigger than Schweinschneiderlin. Now I know that Kane isnt very big yet, but once UIR names him SuperHarryHurrikane he becomes world class. <whistle>

You've got yourself an absolute diamond in Morgan, he deserves to play champions league football so it was refreshing to see that he has actually moved to a club that will be in it unlike a few of our ex players who just moved for the pay packet. We'll miss him at Saints, but hopefully Jordy Clasie can fill the void for us.

Not just in it, but with a chance to win it. If he just wanted to be in the CL, he could have gone to Arsenal
