Thats very sad. Great actor and a great bloke who, so I understand, was a part-time Hull City supporter through his friend Tom Courtenay and they would attend Hull City games heavily disguised along with that stunning actress Ursula Andress.
Ah ****. I really liked Omar Sharif. Partly because he was an epic actor, partly because of his connections to the city, and also because his name makes me think of that song Rock the Kasbah...

CEO of Nintendo and legendary game designer Satoru Iwata died today from a bile duct growth. He was 55. He revolutionised gaming through his games such as the Kirby games, Earthbound and balloon fight. He was also integral in the creation of Pokemon. He also revolutionised the hardware space with the ds and Wii. He will be greatly missed.
