He doesn't seem the type of quy to make up stuff though especially when he doesn't name the player involved.
Koren is the sort of player, a bit like Taarabt, who needs the team to do the hard work around him and he will provide some bits of genius. Last year we had a very weak central midfield so they couldn't cover for him and let him do his thing, but with Bullard and McKenna thrown in the mix, we'll look a lot stronger, and Koren can be used as a kind of 'extra' player who can drift in and out, but the midfield will control the game more steadily as they are supposed to, am I making sense? I've said this many times but Koren was at his best on the wing last season. People just copy off each other with this 'he's better in the middle' thing. He's not at all, all of his good assists/goals last season came from playing on the wing. IMO his best position is either in a midfield 3 as someone suggested above where he has licence to roam a little bit, or as a wide midfielder (not an out and out winger of course) who again is allowed to move about a bit. Either way, I see him having a much better year with better players around him and yes he is part of our plans.
why don't you re-name yourself "Mr Contradiction in terms"? Brady isn't our player so we can't go pencilling him in fantasy City XIs..
Not only that, he only really broke in to United's reserve team last season and then split his games between the reserves and the academy team, so it would be a huge step to throw him straight into our first team.
Why not? You've got to think how he will fit into our team. If you're good enough, you're old enough.
