To be honest 22 mil seems an absolute bargain when you consider Henderson, Downing, and Young were all around 20 mil.

 

Perhaps, I only listed these from the web page I looked at, they're all a little different depending on what you look at .. still stupid money

Torres - £50M: On form £30m, the way he's played for the last year or so then half of that. Will he get back to his best?
Carrol - £35M: At the time we sold him £15m would be a fair price. Not seen anything so far at Liverpool to alter that just yet. Could change though.
Suarez - £22M: Yeah, around the £20m mark is spot on.
Ashley Young - £20M: Actually think this isn't too far off. Still only 26, plenty of years left, good goal scoring / assist record. I'd say £16-20m is ok.
Jordan Henderson - £20M: Halve that.
Phil Jones - £16M: Potentially worth that fee. Potentially....
Stewart Downing - £20M: Halve that again. £20m for a player who's only ever going to be 'good' at best.
David De Gea - £18M: I don't know enough about him.
Conor Wickham - £13M: At the moment, he's probably worth about £5m at best. The potential is there but £13m is a big chunk.
Keiron Dyer - Free: A bargain if he was on pay as you play. He'd never play so they'd never pay.

 

I'd agree with that, although Jones isn't worth that as Utd have 2 excellent young CB's, and Vidic has got a good few years left.

 

Suarez and De Gea are worth it now imo, Wickham, Jones could potentially be worth that

 

Suarez, worth it.
De Gea probably will be worth it - got 15 years left in the game.
Young is probably worth it.
Wickham - potentially worth it. Same as Phil Jones.

The others are ridiculous.

 

I wonder if it's a concern to anyone at Liverpoo how easily Comoli is at being crap at negotiating ..
