Rewatch today's match, if that's boring I'll direct you to the nearest Dulux factory for the necessary paint watching

    I agree.
Even if you only have a passing interest today might be the last chance you ever get to see him in a grand slam final.

    Greatest imo.

Djokovic returns the favour and breaks Federer's serve. I think that may be a blow to Federer's confidence.

Djokovic wins. Great game but Djokovic had too much for Federer in the end.

Also recouped my Murray £10 loss by putting £10 on Novak <ok> <laugh>

They're just presenting the Wimbledon 'Boys' singles, the lad who won it is 6ft10 <yikes>

Also Hingis is pretty tidy, still would.

    **** YOU DJOKOBITCH!!

Nah fair play he soaked up everything Fed threw at him (even if he only plays mostly defensive baseline tennis to Fed's attacking intent <whistle>) and just had the answers. Shows the various differences between Novak and Murray, fitness, mentality, ability to recover, confidence and belief... after his average quarter and semi-finals he showed up and put in a shift today, that's impressive on the mental side. And also to come back after being blown away by Wawrinka in Paris, another guy with a great one-hander

Fed couldn't sustain that level he found against Murray, didn't play badly today, pretty well in fact by his own admission, but just wasn't on it as much and Novak wouldn't have let him get away with that stuff anyhow, everything just came back at him all the time

Interesting to see where Roger goes from here, feels like the end of an era now, maybe one more season as a farewell tour and then pack it in, think it will depend on what the wife says... whether she's happy to stay on tour with the kids in tow, once they're at school age I don't think that'll be possible and he has said himself that if the family wasn't there he wouldn't bother with it anymore

Hingis is fit and so is her doubles partner Sania Murza, biggus boobies on that one, biggus biggus boobies, Hingis not so much but a nice little threesome and you wouldn't be bothered, a nice little pert set, a nice big bouncy set

Lewis Hamilton was invited to watch the final in the royal box but wasn't allowed in cos he didn't dress properly. The ****ing idiot tweeted a pic of the info sent to him earlier by Wimbledon which included a guide for royal box invitees... what a ****ing ******ed idiot!!

    Shirt and Tie isn't?
How ****ing difficult is that. Of the many reasons I've come to dislike F1, Lewis Hamilton is one of them, arrogant little ****e.

Novak is top class but I can see him going the same way as Rafa. Once his body begins to wear and tear, he will start to struggle. Federer is a technical genius and it's what he relies upon which is why he is still reaching Grand Slam finals at this age.

Don't think Fed will get number 8 which is a shame because he deserves the record outright. The Greatest.

no it does seem to be beyond him now if djokovic is at that level. federer got pushed round the court by superb shot play and returning. Mcenroe called it before the game.

I think Roddick called it before the game. To use an old phrase - what a breath of fresh air Roddick's been with his commentating, would like to see him invited back. As for the game, wasn't fussed who won but Novak controlled the match forcing lots of errors from Federer, who relied too much on his back hand and spin shots, he didn't show any signs of the plan B he had spoken of before the match. I loved Roddick's comment after the game when Sue said 'you have to feel sorry for Federer' - 'I feel as sorry as it's possible to be for a 17 time slam winner' - classic <laugh>
