Lets be honest, it had to be. No getting away from the fact other clubs had stormed past you in England (with regards to squads etc.) in recent years. Get a new striker and you could well be back up in contention. And a CB or 2
Schweinsteiger is still a brilliant player. He may have been injured quite a bit recently but just look at his last few years and what hes achieved with club and country. If we use him wisely, he will be great for us too.
