We dont really need him now so its not worth wasting money. Bony will get game time just like all their outfield players who will be in the same boat of not knowing one week to the next who is going to play. They have quality in abundance that they could probably field two teams good enough for a top 4 premiership spot....

As long as Aguero is fit, Bony will be on the bench.

I tell you what, if he gets the limited game time this season that would be a good shout this time next year.

Yes but looking at this deal and with the benefit of hindsight, I think not!

Not justifying the money but that's the difference between what we can aspire to and the likes
of Citeh , finishing top and Champions League football with all the money that generates and us hoping to 1stly survive then finish as high as possible .

Well done to Liverpool for hanging in there for the deal they wanted......What we all think he is worth is immaterial as Liverpool stuck to their guns and it has paid off. Man city must think he is worth the £49m fee to pay it as that is just half the story when you add the Millions they will have to pay sterling in wages....Alls well that ends well for everyone......

QPR will be quite happy with their 9m chunk of the fee.

Speaking personally,I would prefer to aspire and live within my means, know the value of things, than to be so wealthy that I could just throw money around, buy anything available, and not know the value of anything.

Same here . we're doing well enough as small as we are and I'm more than happy to continue along this theme , one thing which needs to be monitored though is that wages are beginning to close the gap between turnover something which due to our reliance on TV money could come back and haunt us

Who knows what went on with Sterling and Rodgers, I think Sterling has shown some balls and some class, unlike liverpool (no surprise there, they make chavs look well bred). He's decided he wants to win something, he has 10 seasons to do it in, why waste his time in the sinking stone that is Liverpool?

As to Liverpool feeling butt-hurt, how many times have they done the same thing? They got the money and flash the cash, ask Southampton.
