Mirror also reporting we are interested In German CB Antonio Rudiger. 6'3" and capped by Germany at all levels. Plays for Stuttgart and would cost about £15 Million.

I imagine Rudiger may be the next of that type with Matip saying he is stopping. It looks like the club have finally decided after 5 years to sort this defence out. We need height and someone with genuine power. Willo for all his height was actually not that commanding in the air. If we can this type, along with a Veltman or N'Koulou, that will shore things up hopefully.

Liverpool heavily linked with Marco Reus. Saying that if Sterling goes to Man ****ty, almost the entirety of the money will be spent on Reus. In stark contrast, when the Andy Carroll fee was obtained, we were assured not a single cent went to Mike, only to find out that the money was spent on agents fees, training ground development etc etc.

Anyway I do rate Marco Reus very, very highly and I think he would be a Suarez-esque coup for the Dippers if they were to pull it off. I'm hoping a big club like Real Madrid (who haven't hit their yearly quota of one superstar signing yet) would snag him instead.
