Also we have been linked with 25 year old Sunderland winger Will Buckley. Would be a good signing, can't see it happening though.
Buckley would be ace, although he has had injury problems i've liked him since Brighton. Also with Adam Johnsons situation i cant see Sunderland letting him leave.
We supposedly had a failed bid of £800K rejected for Connor Goldson by Shrewsbury. Supposedly they are looking for £1 million http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/07/07/leeds-have-bid-for-shrewsburys-connor-goldson-turned-down/
I dont believe anything hitc have to say mate. Of course, they will get some right but its click bait
Read it on Twitter originally and found the HITC article afterwards. People have been bugging the Italian dude on Twitter who tweets about us a lot about the guy
What positions do we need to sign in defence sniffer? I think we are looking good at the back. Certainly not a priority in my opinion
I'd like another centre back personally. But only if they are quality, Moore would be good but there'd be others. Do agree its not top of the priority list though
Not exactly leeds but Max Gradel is likely to be coming back to England. Bournemouth have agreed a fee with St. Etienne
We're refusing to meet Sheffield United's valuation of over 1m for Jamie Murphy, looks like this deal is off. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/leeds-united-refuse-to-meet-jamie-murphy-asking-price/?
That's the end of the Alnwick speculation then - he's ended his trial ... http://www.insidefutbol.com/2015/07/09/goalkeeper-jak-alnwick-ends-trial-at-leeds-united/220669/?
Pfft, he's a 25 year old winger/forward who's playing in league 1 and has been for a few seasons. Not particularly prolific and doesn't get that many assists either. Don't get me wrong, I want us to sign him but if he isn't worth more than 1m.
leeds let in about 60 + goals last season thats way too high and has left us 15th , if thats what your calling a good defence ???? sorry leeds will not be going up unless they get defence sorted
Sniffer, goals against fell into 3 phases last season: pre-Thompson; Thompson; & post- Thompson. The results are interesting (I've used league only results), thus: Pre- Thompson: Hockaday conceded 8 in 4 games - 2 per game Pre- Thompson: Milanic conceded 8 in 6 games - 1.33 per game Pre- Thompson: Redders (both spells) conceded 15 in 11 games - 1.36 per game Pre- Thompson Total: Conceded 31 in 21 games until Thompson started on December 18th - 1.48 per game Thompson: Conceded 16 goals in 18 games until he left on April 2nd - 0.89 per game Post- Thompson: Conceded 14 goals in 7 games until the end of the season - 2 per game Put another way, Redders conceded an average of 1.61 goals per game without Thompson, and only 0.89 goals per game with him. Nearly twice as much!! Using the 0.89 ratio, we would only have conceded 41 over the whole season. Only Middlesboro conceded less than that with 37. Redders is no more, so if our present coaching staff is up to the task, we should be able to concede less than 1 goal per game with the players we have.
i hope so , also leeds have to score about 120 goals to make it into the automatic top 2 places i cannot see that at the moment but hope so
