Young! I really do not want to see rooney bring used as midfielder again. Adnan has not really impressed last year.

We need some really top class striker to supplement Rooney and Depay.

Hes a useful player who was a match winner for us last season. Hes never going to wow you or leave you speechless but he was good last season and more often than not, deserved his place in the team.

He proved plenty wrong last season. He was gone last summer.... Everyone thought it. Two people didn't. LVG and Fellaini.

In the limited time he had on the pitch I thought he was starting to look back on track, his decision making looks to be improving too.

    Match winner <laugh>
    Good last season <laugh>

He did a job for us. One that plastered the cracks. The cracks are filled, now he can fck off. Players like Anderson and Park have done more at Ynited but in the end werent good enough. Fellaini isnt even in their league. The guy's a bumbling, reckless bafoon who fouls more than he dispossesses. Cant pass for toffee and in the latter part of the season, LVG's use of him was being found out.

You want to talk about a player who proved ppl wrong you don't have to look far. Ashley Young. The gulf in contribution between him and Fellaini shows who deserves a future at the club and who doesnt.

Neither will have nor should have a future here. Both also stepped up last season after a disappointing season the year before.

Not exactly sure what you think Fellainis job is but everyone else seems to have clocked on. Its to be a pain, dominate in the air and be a target man for erm... Ashley young (amongst others)

Wonder why Young was so good? Could it have been the partnership he and Fellaini built up last season?

Completepy disregarding his contribution last season because you don't like him. I can see a pattern emerging.

van Gaal - doesnt like, never praise, always to blame

Woodward - doesnt like, never praise, always to blame

Fellaini - doesnt like, never praise, always to blame.

Be positive ffs. Woodys made you look silly the past few days, Fellaini was decent last season and I am sure van Gaal will continue this trend <laugh>

If United are signing players like Depay and Schweinsteiger to play alongside Fellaini then we may as well get Moyes back.

Not saying he's a bad signing but he's not played too much the last few years. Only 30 so should still have some legs but I'm sceptical of older foreign players adapting quickly to the PL.

Are you saying that Depay and schweinsteiger are not good enough to play alongside Fellaini ? <whistle>

Honestly speaking everyone could see that Fellaini did a better job last year compared to his first season. The pressure and playing in a struggling team. But I agree with UIR for once. Fellaini does not deserve the spite he gets from some of our fans here.

The only thing in all that gumf....

"to be a pain, dominate in the air and be a target man"

If that's the only qualities you can come up with, or that you're looking for, then more fool you. It's just woolly nonsense. Means nothing. Technically he is 5hit. You know it that's why you'll never talk about it. Instead we only hear the straw-clutching we see in that phrase I quoted above.

He did do a better job. And I dont spite the guy. I said he deserved credit where it was due. But I'm not going to agree that he was some sort of messiah or that he offered anything more than a workman like performance for us. All I said was that his name doesnt belong in the midfield you quoted bcos he isnt in their league. That's not being harsh on him, it's just the truth.

Fellaini did a good job last season. It depends on what your aspirations are for United.

Yes. What we should have been doing is have him playing as Messi. Forget that his best attributes are his height and strength, thats not important.

There's definitely a place for him on the bench as a plan C.

Which is exactly what he will be. Last 15, chasing a goal.
