    Abide by the decision?
    Try again, if they can?
At the moment the club and the Allams are intertwined. Its pointless posters just saying, "they can **** off now". They cant even if they wanted too. He was never going to walk away in 24 hours. Its impossible. Surely we all realise that. The get out being Ehab runs it.

Can they sell all the players and take the money? How much are we worth to a buyer?
Will they just continue with the rebranding as Dutch keeps saying?

So what will they do? No matter what any poster wants they are here for the forseeable future.

Spitting the dummy out would make no sense, but I think it's in their genes so I could see this becoming uglier still. I just hope if it does, people realise it's the Allams choice to drag it out, and they deserve the criticism, not fans who love Hull City AFC.

The other option is they move on. I really hope they do, but I just don't know.

Could they still rely on the support of a hardcore few if they reapply again, or refuse further transfer funds? That would be interesting.

My feeling is that a 3rd application would still see them with some small amount of support, withdrawal of cash would however lose them almost everyone.

Time to move on and run the club normally, I think, until they can get a sale, or achieve success as HCAFC.

Ideal world - They accept the decision, start using the club's proper name and we go back to just concentrating on the football.

Real world - Petulant rant, blame the hooligan fans/FA for holding back his master plan, ignore the FA and pretend we're called 1 904.

I'd say the second option was more likely than the first, despite the first option being the only sensible option.

He won't get his money back without getting us back in the Premier League, flogging off the players won't generate anywhere near enough to cover the debt and despite everything, he won't want to leave the club in a worse state than he found it.

It's hard to predict what will happen next, he's completely irrational.

If they make it apparent that they are selling the players to get their investment back, the prices of the players will go down. I agree that they won't sell, and can't sell, and probably never wanted to sell.

I do get the impression that, after all that's been said and done, the Allams are still unable to fathom why they aren't popular heroes with every supporter of Hull City. They have a business mindset that simply doesn't accept failure, or recognise the views of others. Assem is an incredibly generous man, that's obvious, yet he's also capable of actions that others will see as mean spirited and unacceptable. But he doesn't get it.

I think he will have to do an embarressing climb down.
Realistically, all he has to do is sign some new players to stop the immature ****s going on about this for the next week or 2.

IMO while they are the owners nothing much will change. If they are allowed they will apply every season, and hope that finally they will get the green light to change the name.

In the meantime they will leave all the things connected with the club without the name City or AFC on them, so I think we just have to get used to that.

The FA should have put this to bed. We're all absolutely sick of it aren't we?

We need to unite as one and they could have given us the room to do that today.

Whilst the rules remain that you can apply to change your playing name every season if you so wish, I just don't think this is the last of the matter.

I was told a couple of months ago (by someone quite high in the club) that this is it. Whatever the outcome today was the Allams won't appeal/ apply again. Now whether they change all of the emails, websites etc is a different thing.

The best option would be for the FA to tell the Allams they will have to pay the full cost of any future appeal as they consider it to be pointless & breaching the rules of the FA by not accepting a democratic panel decision.

Why are people bothered about the club's history ?
It's nothing to be proud of. Low league, rubbish football. Always in debt. Three thousand crowd in some crappy stadium.

You don't seem too bothered about the club with 6 posts in 2 years.

I doubt many give a **** about the club's history, ignominious as it is. However, many of those who don't give a **** still don't want the name change, mainly because they are proud of their city and believe the club should reflect that.
