Its not over by a long shot...... Greg dyke seems to leave the FA door wide open for the next attempt..... Hull appealed the last one but I don't think they can appeal this time. They can work on a new application, that could perhaps have better research, but as of now their application has been rejected."
To the here today, gone tomorrow owners and their advisers: What is it about this name change you don't get? Don't worry about your legal fees, just stick the cost on to match day ticket prices and sell your best players. Silly me, you're doing that already.
why's that - he'll be gone in 24 hours - he said he would - has he ever said something and not done it - take comfort in his cv
I await the silent majority who want to change the name to Hull Tigers drowning out the toxic minority singing abiut City with their thunderous chants about how they demand the name change be allowed.
But who's fault is that? There's been no reply from the club yet, but you know what it's gonna be? It's come to the point where as long as the Allams remain, the relationship between club and fans, fan/fan will become evermore toxic. It's an absolute, crying shame it's come to this - he could have been a legendary owner, but he won't, not by a long way.
It's a shame it wasn't that thunderous last season, it would have been nice to actually see them stay to the end of the game it was like watching an HFC game go down and everyone piles out true supporters my ass
Ands who's falt ist it ? You should have backed him in his fight against joke of a council who couldn't pull in a brothel to take the club forward with his plans and not turn on him.
I was referring to the thunderous chants of the ones demanding we change our name to Hull Tigers. You know, the silent majority. It was indeed embarrassing to see the silent majority streaming out before the end, especially when we had played well.
They said yes to the sports village. They offered to help finance it. They said they wouldn't give him the freehold to the KC so he spat his dummy out. If he'd have said yes we'd have had the sports village built by now.
Great news, it's just a shame that the bonkers sod will probably keep trying to change the name as long as he has nothing better to do
It was ALWAYS going to be rejected and the Allams knew that. We know why he wants to change the name and his public reason is no longer valid. The only thing now is for the Allams to back the manager - keep the quality we have and add to it. Then win the championship and return to the mega PL money that follows. The PL mega wonga is far far greater than any overseas investment income and / or name change. The facebook, twitter trolls and anti-Allam collective have been at it already. Time to focus on what really matters now. What happens on the pitch.
http://www.thefa.com/news/2015/jul/the-fa-council-reject-hull-city-application The FA Council has rejected Hull City’s application to change their playing name to Hull Tigers. If they had given it to them Obi, don't you think every council house tenant would have been asking for the freehold of their council house. In my opinion they would have had every right to, as there is no difference in the two.
