Well written and incisive article from Amber Nectar: http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2011/07/hero-phil-brown/
It's not a FIFA ranking, but IFFHS go to www.iffhs.de. Sorry not a computor type, can't do hyperlinks. West Ham are 376 at the moment!
Well written article. I wish Brown hadnt got the Preston job, i would have liked to see him so desperate he prostitutes himself on tv and ends up on Big Brother. Would have been hilarious. I always liked, Richard Garcia IS a goalscorer, I know his record says he isnt but he IS!!
Can't understand these ranking systems a lot of the time, think currently England are ranked fourth in the world, which has got to be the biggest joke ever.
The article is good, well written as already stated. But although we at last got to the top flight I think we came as close as ever to loosing Hull City AFC as we know it, as when Lloyd locked us out of Boothferry Park. Brown's history will be there for all to see in years to come but one thing that is rather odd is the warmth given towards Blackpool for their time in the Premiership when City had done more or less the same thing and were not afforded the same praise when relegated. Was that more to do with Brown then the club itself?
Think it was due to them playing very attacking football in comparison to us. Everyone likes to see a side throwing everything at it.
