Having seen some of the stick the players got from last night after a weeks training, coupled with the booing of Belusci, it mightnt be a bad thing if these games werent open to the public at all. Scorelines are irrelevant as some of the players wont even be at the club likely at start of season while others will arrive, fitness levels are non existent still, new formations being tested etc etc. Some of the twitter reaction last night was atrocious to put it mildly

I haven't read Twitter, but last night was only about learning and fitness.

So what did we learn? We still have much ****e in the team, still can't win a ball in midfield, we have no width, the current midfield players are poor and will be overrun time and agin this coming season.

and a set of part time footballers are much fitter than our so called professionals.

So what does booing players in a first friendly of the season achieve?

Others who were at game said there was and a Bellusci said something back to the fans also not complimentary. But heyho, Im more than happy in my armchair as apparently there is never anything worth watching on the field

Its funny too, some of our fans like to think theyre the best in the world and at the same time boo our players. Just because they turn up in numbers doesnt make them great and personally Id prefer if the ones with the attitude, stayed at home. Theyre certainly no help

That old chestnut is played out. At least when there, I support, obviously unlike some of the self professed great fans

    You raised it....
But I am afraid I disgree with your substantive point.
Those that invest their money and time in following the team are entitled to voice their opinion if they are unhappy.

Ten minutes into first friendly of season. That is ridiculous booing a player and is not supporting the club or helping in any way. Better off if they stayed in pub that likely they had spent a few hours in anyway

If there was any booing it must have only have been on or two......... Never heard anything untoward at all, and wj had stood us with the more vocal support.
Wait till the end of August.... It will be deafening.
Still expect the mad man to have another episode of dummy spitting yet and the **** to get deeper.

That's something to look forward to so. Deafening booing and protests two weeks into the season. Should be a massive help. Any wonder some players can't play seemingly at elland road
