It wasn't really an interview, he just went on to talk about the sad death of Omar Sharif.

I fear not, though I don't know for sure, I got sidetracked watching Murray getting a lesson in tennis and missed it.

So, we have an owner at Hull City who treats his customers (your fellow fans) like a hinderence. He who tells them (your fellow fans) they can die when they want and that they (your fellow fans) are hooligans.

An owner and son who think the fans' (your fellow fans) opinions mean nothing? An owner who wants to change the club name against the wishes of the majority of (your fellow) fans.

And you call Andy Murray a 'Scotch ****' because of his nationality?

But you'll have a go at your fellow fans for standing up against Allam & Son? You know, fans who actually feel aggrieved by someone's attitude and have real tangible reasons for not liking them as opposed to just where they come from?

You seem to overstate the support of the Trust on here, I believe there are a few who represent it, some (like me) who are members and plenty who are undeclared in their association or beliefs. Personally, I do use this board to question the Trust, I tend to do it in a direct manner and don't give a **** about niceties. What has always confused and frustrated me about your approach is that you constantly lecture is all about how to discuss things on this board, yet you are spectacularly poor at it yourself. Quit the evasive nonsense, stop the vague 'you know but can't say' approach, try just saying whatever it is you feel you need to say and stop criticising folk who put themselves in the public domain and have the courage of their convictions. Your played your pseudo-intellectual claptrap long enough, so what is Dutch Mountsin Dog's way forward.

I caught up on your conversations with others who were taking you to task for boring them with your usual drivel, so you playing your usual audience card is pathetic, as they were complaining at you.

It doesn't need to be anything radical. Just do what other businesses do. I'm sure you've been at FWG meetings where I've bored everyone by repeatedly talking about this. Just get the adverts where people will see them. Put relevant stuff around the ground on matchdays (and around the City the rest of the time) instead of the way out of date adverts that always seem to adorn the place. Our stadium is next to a bloody flyover ffs; it doesn't take a genius to see the opportunity there.

I once had a private meeting with Nick Thompson and went through all this, but it came to nothing although he seemed really positive about it. I've absolutely no professional marketing experience or expertise, but it just seems obvious. We're in a big City, there's plenty of football fans in this City but nowhere near enough of them watch live football.

I totally agree, unfortunately those sort of actions are really only open to the club. I'd be interested to see ideas that we as fans could do ourselves, independent of the club.
