    Just checked on Bild and they are reporting it. They havent said he's jouned though, just that it's imminent. If true it would be impressive.

    I am not so sure. I've never been impressed by. German midfielders over the years. They are efficient, and hard working. But they are not that creative and their flair quotient not that impressive in the main.

    Think hes going to be a direct replacement for Carrick and be deployed deeper than the rest of our midfielders. His intelligence and efficiency will be key in that role.

    Greg Stobart, some football journalist reported - If United get Schweinsteiger (which looks on) they will still sign Schneiderlin. Full midfield overhaul - and pretty formidable

    Well he used to be world class, as soon at that pen hits that contract his world class status will drop. He's a ageing Bayern reject who no one else wanted and is only joining for one last big pay day... Thats right isnt it? But does look older than Costa<laugh>

    I'm hearing the fee is anything from £6m to £15m depending on what news source you read <laugh>

    I read it's something closer to 5-7 million <yikes>

    It should be at least £20 million for his calibre so credit to Woodward here ;)
