Now that RVP is on his way, who do you think is likely to be our target as a new striker. I'm never a great one for selling before a replacement is in - just in case, and the thought of starting the season with just Rooney does worry me. Who is out there for us to buy - Cavani, Muller ......................
You can just see the Chelsea bench going into panic mode - Rooney takes a knock and Wilson is preparing to come on...................................No Chicarito, no RvP, no Falcao even - I see problems ahead.
Definitely not, no! We have to get someone in. Muller would be great but I'm fairly sure that won't happen.(reverse jinx!) No idea otherwise, we should have kept one of Falcao or RVP in my opinion.

Well yeh, Depay can play as a striker but hes really a left forward not someone who plays centrally. We will buy a striker. Its blatantly obvious. We've moved over half a milliom off the wage bill already.
With us moving such a large amount off the wage bill, is it possible we sign harry Kane for a big fee on low wages? I mean he wont be earning much at the minute?
He's signed a new contract twice fairly recently so I'd imagine he's on around £50k. Seems a huge risk on the fee though for a guy who's not even had one full season.
Not saying we will sign him. Just a possibility. We are clearly freeing up wages we dont have to free up for a reason. Almost like a plan (but not)
Sincerely with the kind of midfield we are building, we really do not need a top class striker. At the moment what we need is a back up striker. I believe this is the season to leave Rooney up front there and see what he could do, this time around he won't be playing in midfield. We will obviously be playing 4-3-3 , yes we have the players for that formation now with Bastian, Morgan, Carrick, Herrera, even mata can be one of the midfield 3. We can keep Hernandez as back up striker, and of course we still have Wilson. Oh and depay can also play as striker. Getting a world class striker would disorganised the team again just like last season, because we will be forced to play 2 strikers and it will affect the midfield. All top class teams play with just one striker backed by a strong midfield. If we must get a striker and it has to be Muller, if we get Muller then we definitely have to sell di Maria. Muller can play on the right, depay on the left and Rooney in the middle. If Rooney gets injured, Muller can then play in the middle, that is how versatile he is.
Feel you need a bit of pace... Lacazette, Gameiro, J. Martinez... not really much quality out there right now unless you're spending 60m+ on Suarez, Benzema, Aguero etc.
