Bit of hatred on here at the moment and following the clubs you hate thread, why not add players and managers to that! Reeling off a few, Kevin Nolan, David Nugent, Jack Wilshere, Pepe, Busquets, Lallana Managers: Fergie, Rodgers, Poch, Poyet, Van Gaal Happy Friday!
I prefer this thread. My reason being that my dislike of clubs fluctuates, fundamentally being based on players and managers. Liverpool are the prime example. I did really like them in the 2000s, but I dislilke them hugely now - with Rodgers being a primary reason for that. And why stop at managers and players? I'll throw commentators/pundits in too. Managers: Rogers, Redk*app, Poyet, Sherwood. Players: Nolan, Nugent, Sterling, Ivanovic, Tiote. No doubt others will come to mind later. Commentators/pundits: Savage, Yorke, Wright.
Unlike clubs i feel i can more freely hate individuals, such as: Players: John Terry, Steven Fletcher, Suarez, Lovren, Ravel Morrison, Managers: Rodgers, 'arry, Di Canio There are others i'm sure but those are what i can pick off the top of my head
A few for me.. Players - Robben, Sterling, Lallana, Ramos, Busquets, Terry Managers - Brenda, Redknapp, Pulis
Don't like Gerrard.....telling Sterling to behave when he held the very same club to ransom over wages. Also he was allowed on camera to punch a DJ and get away with because of his wealth and celebrity status. Redknapp because it's never his fault and he fiddled his taxes and blamed on his dog because he can't read or write.
Players - Julian Dicks Duncan Ferguson Twatbeard LOLvren Anyone not playing for Saints when they play Saints John Terry Robbie Savage Managers Brenda 'Arry Poyet Van Gaal (but again, "hate" is way, way too strong).
Rodgers, Ferguson, Van Gaal, Martinez, Poyet, Redknapp, Sherwood Gerrard, Sterling, Twatbeard, Lolvren, Van Persie, Rooney, Nolan, Nugent Just to name a few of my more obvious ones!!!
Might I add that this doesn't mean I don't rate them as players/managers - just who I dislike - Van Gaal is a good shout.
"Resentment is like a hot coal that you hold and try and throw at someone else. You end up burning yourself". Can you tell ive been therapised?!
Andy Caroll for throwing himself to the floor as though he has been shot by a sniper...... Robbie Savage just for being a dick. Tim Sherwood especially when he did that stupid salute........embarrassing.
The two at the top of my list are: -Maradona (I was 7; he cheated and I couldn't understand why nothing was done... If I'd known then what I know about football maybe it wouldn't have hurt so much). -Roy Keane purposefully ending Alf-Inge Haaland career with his vicious tackle (which he doesn't even regret) Other than that: -Suarez, Rivaldo, Lee Bowyer, Joey Barton -Any player who thinks they are a superior person simply because they play a sport for a living also raises my hackles.
