The running track won't be visible when the stadium is being used for football, so you're wrong there.

...and levy doesn't own Spurs, he's an employee of ENIC <doh>

Apart from that, you're spot on...

It doesn't matter whether its visible or not. There's still a huge gap between the pitch & supporters in certain sections, which is what I was referring to.

And the Levy stuff was a joke. I know its that guy in the Bahamas (or something) who's really mysterious that has funded most of Spurs' stuff over the years.

Thanks for the confirmation, knew I was anyway <ok>

There's retractable seating going in that will cover most of the track.

We've been behind spurs now for several years. We have had blips when we gate crashed the top 4 but the reality in terms of size and ambition is that we are behind the London club.

"size", how do you work that out Carl?, club value, average attendance, income, fan base we are miles ahead of Spurs.

" ambition", how do you measure ambition?, transfer fees?, owner/owners?, manager?.

I can't see how Spurs are more ambitious than us but I can see how the core quality of their squad gives them the little bit of extra mileage over us they have in the league.

If stadium size was the defining factor we should be languishing behind Newcastle and Sunderland. Whats more FC Pyonyang should be the biggest team in the world by a country mile.

But in all seriousness, constant vigilance and care is need to ensure we do not slip. We have alreay slipped considerably from the early 90s in terms of our position and we need careful direction to ensure we move back up the ladder. that said I dont think FSG are doing a bad job.

    Agreed.

West ham will be sold. End of. I'm not worried about them.

Sours are much better run but have been held back compared to arsenal in terms of spend on wages etc. I would agree that England should by the end have a big 6

I'm staggered by the fact that you're dismissing West Ham due to the fact that they'll be sold post the Olympic stadium move.

This makes them an even bigger threat soft ollies, as they're a London club who'll be playing in a large iconic stadium with no debt........post the virtual removal of FFP, they'll be an attractive proposition to a billionaire looking for a football club.

they are a SMALL london club thats run by two spivs with the sole aim of mkaing a quikc buck.

that adds up to either a lucky buy buy some very rich arab or a sale to a bunch of clowns like G&H.

everyone has billionaire owners. even lfc. its not billions on its own its billioaire with unlimited funds you need.

the russians are ****ed. the arabs oil price is in the tank.

AND the english market is saturated. there will be 3 london clubs if tottenham get their act together. 2 in manchester...

WHY would an arab buy into that when he could buy into italy and dominate there? inter and ac will go for a song

for me this is simple competitive forces. even if you take lfc completely out of it and say west ham and spurs make up a top 6. two must lost out!

the top table is not that easy to get to.

    Aside from the £110m like

We have more than twice the income of West Ham. How about we wait until they have... let's pick 75% of our income until we worry about them

Not 100 % certain, I think West Ham are going to lease their new Stadium. However, I do not think they
are ever going to be kicked out.

The EPL will always attract top end buyers, if FFP regulations are relaxed, as it's the biggest and best in the World. You're completely deluding yourself if you think there's not a billionaire or 2 out there who might fancy a plaything, especially a historic London club who'll be playing their football in a stadium that's already World famous.

As for every club already being owned by Billionaires, ****ing lol, I'll let Bill know <doh>

You can't pay off £110m debt with a sale of less than £70m

They haven't got £110m of debt, so you'd be right there.

like the chicken farmers from india you mean <whistle>

Its got the most revenues in tv money but also the highest bills. Its also got a strong sterling price tag right now.

I have NO doubt a billionaire or two will but as i said, not sure you noticed, there are lots of those who are not roman abramovich. If RA started today with his 10bil fortune he could not afford the players to make cheslea huge. 70mil to 100 mil per player is a huge going rate and the top sides can only afford one.

As i said if you want a play thing.... go to italy, buy ac milan get them in CL with 100mil of spending and you can easily stay there.

In england like it or not (and lfc know all about it) there are 6 clubs to go into 4.. 6 into 4 doesn't go so some billionaire will lose out.

I'll change my statement: the clubs that MATTER are owned by billionaires already <ok> :bandit:
