Erm, actually, parking where his permit is not valid constitutes a contract of action.

A great tip for you for next time Dave :

When you recieve a PCN or Notice to Owner by post simply post it back to the sender with a letter entitled " Notice of Rejection of Invalid Invoice" and ask them to either submit a true invoice as per the Bills of Exchange Act 1882 or rescind their alledged debt.

Correctly formatted Bills or Invoices, fully compliant with the Bills of Exchange Act 1882 must contain the following:

    The Company name
    Company registration number
    Head office address
Invoice date and date by which invoice is to be paid
A full description of the goods and services supplied and the cost thereof
The position as to VAT and their company VAT number
A legible wet ink signature of an officer of the company

By failing to send a proper invoice they are committing VAT fraud and more importantly requesting that you do the same.

Works every time my friend...............i am in the process of working through about 10 of these for different friends all at different stages of procedure.

It is like taking candy from a baby!

Seeing as you are so wound up about this, can you explain how that £1561 is broken down? Before you understand that it isnt possible to get wound up about it because you dont kow what you are getting wound up about.

At £33,000 a year you work out £80 a year better off. And that figure stays the same up to those earning £42,000 a year... More evidence there of the Tories helping the elite only...

You've also picked your £108,000 a year figure to angry about. That is them 0.1% better off?!!!?!?1 Those f-ing tory cnuts. Giving a bloke who pays 37% of his income in tax to subsidise the existence of places like Newcastle a 0.1% pay rise!!! The cheek of it :( I mean yes that bloke pays £40,000 a year in tax and national insurance contributions and allows the welfare state to exist through his hard work and talent but there is no way on earth that a 0.1% pay rise can not be something to make your blood boil!!!!!!!!

You do know that he £141 figure kicks in at £43,000 and stays the same up until £122,000 when they end up £18.50 worse off . There's something for you to celebrate

I got a bus lane ticket over a month ago. Refused to pay it as I was in it for about 5 seconds. Asked for proof of law that states it is an offence and hey presto it was quashed.

<laugh> we dont dodge parking fines ................. what we do is protect vulnerable people from being extorted by Bailliffs or Enforcement Officers as they now like to be called now.

OK, I give up. You are obviously aware of some new laws that have been written in the last few seconds. Good luck!

**** me, they're still banging on about the Labour government.

FACT - the economic downturn was the result of a global banking crisis .

FACT - Thatcher deregulated the banks.

Also Fact the FSA under Labour knew the biggest risks to them were how banks we working 3 years before the crisis and did nothing and said nothing after it. Gordon brown cosied up to them.

I just used it. Myself and my partner (Unmarried between 25 and 30 years old) without any children earning 25K and 30K respectively are actually £160 better off per year under the Tories. You seem to be worse off if you are unemployed which I actually agree with. Those that need protecting should absolutely be able to depend on the state for support but we need to end this 'Benefit lifestyle choice' and this 'Something for nothing' mentality that people have. Where they believe it is the responsibility of others to support their lifestyle when that absolutely should not be the case.

The tories are taxing dividends by an additional 7.5% for basic rate tax payers so for a lot of small business owners that use dividends to reduce income tax will be worse off, just doesnt show it on the calculator
