It still bewilders me slightly these days that Jack Bruce used to consider Baker his great pal when he knew that Ginger could be capable of killing him if he was in the right mood. And he was often very close to being in the right mood, such was Baker's instability.
I got selected for a random search. Bloody hell the looks I was getting from passengers going past! And I'm white!
You were just selected so they couldn't be accused of racism. My friend who is a little, white haired old lady has been searched twice
I get checked nearly every time I was a little lucky last time as it was just sniffer dogs on arrival, who can smell what you have, but not how much and i was packing x3 the allowed amount of alcohol and tobacco.
Lucky sod.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-33442609#?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=BBC
I watched that programme after all. Rather more than just 70's rock music though. Lots of memories came back. I still don't really know why he couldn't get along with Jack Bruce, and ridiculously it was a love/hate/love relationship because Jack loved him. Ginger was too bloody hard nails to be caught saying it back. Not in anyway shape or form my favourite person, even though I can understand what it meant to have his childhood life torn apart by losing his Dad. He visited his own internal troubles on everybody else. That's something I won't condone.
Too many people excuse rancid behaviour because the perpetrator is good at something...art, painting, singing or football for that matter. Having talent and being in a position of authority should encourage you to be better behaved, not worse. Not got anything against Djokovic, but I see he is faced with having to apologise to a ball girl for screaming at her and making her cry. Nothing worse than being in a helpless position and having to take abuse. Mind you, Tim Henman is in the rarefied position of being evicted from a match for hitting a ball girl (accidently I hasten to add ).
Yes, pelted her with a ball in temper and forfeited the match. It is occasionally mentioned during tennis commentary when people are asked to name the player who was thrown out for violent conduct. Good quiz question.
Morning from the other side of the Atlantic. 6:20 here but wide awake. Had a stunning view of Greenland on the flight yesterday. Mountains, glaciers, icebergs. One of the most astonishing and spectacular things I've ever seen.
