Root is unbelievable. Honestly, in 50 years time, people will talk about greats of the game, and his name will be up there, I promise you that. Hands down my favourite cricketer at the moment, even though Kane Williamson is pretty epic.

This has been a great recovery but I would still say anything below 380 and Aus are still in front. How we react to the new ball is key.
I'd say 60/40 in England's favour atm never 100% sure until both teams bat but runs on the board always applies pressure on team yet to bat. If if butler and broad can hit a counter attacking 60 partnership and get us up to 400 id say very much advantage england
I reckon England will be skittles early and for 360 or so now. Ali can be good, very good but he's got to prove it and the tail is in Can't see 400. I think until the auasie bat we cannot say if this is any good they could put on 600 here
the morning after and i am still thinking that its not enough. the bowling still worries. their best pace, which is faster than ours got nothing out of this pitch except for early on. if their upper order sticks they could get 400/3 handy. Can see them declaring after thier first innings. we will have to see.
