Proven winner. How many people are looking at this game and thinking, thank God we have Sanchez in our team instead of Higuian ?
Well with my other half being a proud Chilean it's been crazy celebrating in my house. I can't tell you how happy I am for Sanchez and Ospina! Chi chi chi le le le!
Messi put 2 on a plate for Higuain and Aguero. He scored his penalty. It wasn't one of his better performances but he didn't do anything wrong. He was solid.
Looks like the Spuds have released photos of their new proposed stadium, pity it looks like a toilet... please log in to view this image
Love how sp*rs think that by making their stadium 600 seats bigger than ours they will be getting one over on us. What they don't realise is that by the time they have finished building their stadium we will have upgraded ours to 65k.
The other thing is of course, is that sp*rs have to first build and finance this monstrosity. It will take them at least 3 years to complete construction and even longer to start realising the benefits of it. By that time we will be over the horizon.
There's no way the spuds are going to be filling that stadium when they are playing the likes of Young Boys in the europey pot. Against the big teams like us, Utd and Chelsea maybe. But that stadium will be 3/4 full for the majority of the season.
That is true, they will struggle to continuously fill up the 61k stadium, they simply don't have the fan base to do it. Also, we built up an even bigger fan base based on Wenger's earlier success to which they continued to come due to his attractive style of play and consistent top 4's. This won't be the case for Spurs who can't get top 4 and will struggle even more when austerity hits their asses, like it did for us. There aren't any managers who can manage the way Wenger did on a shoe string budget and still keep us at the top. Their manager merry-go-round will continue and things will only get worse.
