It's clearly not a wild goose chase. Preki had resigned and is flying to the UK, the local club have confirmed that they allowed him to resign to take over a club in England. Even if our local reporters are wrong and it turns out to be an assistant job with you or another club there it's clearly not a wild goose chase.
One of our local news station have just quoted Preki "This opportunity ahead of me is a lifetime dream and will challenge me in the highest level of the game." Edit: He will be leaving for the UK after Saturday's game, he agreed to coach this weekends game when they allowed him to resign. The next round of local news is at 5 pm here, in 3 hours, I'll let you know if they give any updates.

I don't give a **** really, I just live outside of Sacramento and figured you all might like info from someone who lives here who can just turn on the local news and listen to all of this. If you all really don't want me to let you know what's being said here I can always go back to the Hull board. I will say this, they keep saying taking over a club but the official releases don't say that. It's possible it's an assistant manger job with you all. If you read his quote I put in he doesn't actually say he will be the manager. Possibly a development manager job? Sacramento FC is an independent club but it's really the development team for the SJ earthquakes if you understand how the MLS works. so it would make some sense if he was coming to take over your development team.

Well he has coached in England I think before so maybe not non-league. Our news had expected him to resign for a while once Sacramento didn't get the MLS bid for 2016 and instead will probably get it in 2020. He is easily a MLS quality manager so let's compromise and say League 2
It might be someone else or an assistant. The only news that explained their source said that it was the rumor from staff inside Sacramento FC. Every other news has just said their sources.
