Couldn't care less what colour they are: I'm taking a year off from making CAFC-related purchases. I'll still donate to the charities, though.
I'm not going to bother with a new strip this year me thinks. I will just have to remain strong when walking past the club shop on the first day though
having seen them all in person, the white looks a bit cheap. the purple isnt for me, although the design is ok. will be a home kit purchase for me and the kid. i wish they did a black one.
I'd say they're all strong. Though am I alone in thinking Igor looks like he's pilled the pounds on slightly?
i dont think so. he looked fine. that being said i did think "bloody hell, these lot are small" standing next to them. i'm 6ft and was a fair bit taller than most of them.
Maybe the rest are just breathing in then Now we've done the kits, how about some players to wear them? A loan and a centre back with question marks over him aren't going anywhere to inspire the fans. At this rate they'll have to get JJ delivering every season ticket to bump the numbers up.
Instead of cringeworthy gimmicks like that how about getting people to buy season tickets via conventional ways aka good signings and keeping our best players.
If that actually persuades somebody to buy a season ticket, there is a very good chance I wouldn't get on with that person!
... and our entire first team squad of outfield players wearing them. Is there a reputable six-a-side competition we can join?
Oh for the days when clubs played in the same strip every season. Changing strip every year used to be regarded as a rip-off, but now it's accepted as normal practice.
it's what the franchises do in America (not sure about soccer), but when I was there a mets jersey cost me nearly £100 but they explained they never change it. I asked what happens when the guy on the back leaves. There was no response.
