    Fans are rightly anxious that the £35 million for AC gets re-invested in the club/fees/wages/underground heating/dutch smokes or whatever.

    Imagine waking up to Ashley having sold to some bloke with a "ghutra"...............would we be this mad or crass?

    "Adebayor ( bought in 2009 for £26million!!!!)also felt insulted at the way he received an email from a girl in the admin department , on holiday telling him he could only train with the reserves from now on and that he will never be part of the first-team squad."

    Add Bellamy loaned out at £50,000 a week still coming from Man City and Given ( £70,000 per week getting bed sores)............

    The mind boggles!

    If we did have mega-loaded owners (a la Citeh) then we'd be able to afford this. Wouldn't be good for the club though, so I'm satisfied with what we've got. We could do much worse (a la Blackburn)

    I'm more concerned at how you comment that the treatment of Adebayor, Given and Bellamy is crass. Yet you refer to an unspecified arab as "a bloke with a tea towel on his head". That is actually a crass statement and is far worse than choosing not to play a few overpayed players in the first team.

    The main reason i'd be happy with mega rich arabs in charge, is so we don't have to keep on arguing about wage caps and how much a player is worth.

    They give us the money to buy the player, i don't give a ****, because it's their money and spending big wont put us in debt.

    I personally think the arab owners of Man Citeh are genuine Citeh fans, because they've spent over a billion quid, and it will seriously take around 20+ seasons over consecutively finishing in the top 2/3 to get any sort of profit back. They must be paying a fortune on wages, and on top of that massive transfer fees.

    They obviously don't really care much about making a profit, and just want to see the club do well.

    It would be the same if i were a multi-billionaire. I'd buy the Toon and give unlimited amounts and i wouldn't care if i didn't see the same amount back, as long as the toon were doing well.
