It seems increasingly likely the Klanfield bosses do not trust Brenda with the Mousers` transfer funds as yet another glamorous free transfer arrives in the form of Hungarian Goalkeeper Adam Bogdan. That is possibly a downgrade on Brad Jones, who I thought did a decent job in the absence of Mignolet last season. Hmmm, Lloris and Vorm or Mignolet and Bogdan? I know which two I would rather have.
Seems that the board will stick with Rodgers............. while keeping a very close eye on Klopp. As soon as Klopp makes himself available it will be by-bye Brenda, so long and thanks for all the crap.
Might not be so simple. Will Pellegrini still be around when Klopp comes out of exile? Or LvG? There could be any number of bigger clubs than Pool that want him, like West Brom
It's a question of holding ones nerve. Who will blink first? It's Liverpool and City at the moment but when the new season is underway and results start looking shakey..... Who knows? Liverpool will want to look professional and entice the players they can. Sacking Rodgers with Klopp not looking to come back into football yet would leave them in a mess. Keeping Rodgers on but not giving him any money reeks of "Caretaker until our 1st choice decides otherwise". Personally I think Liverpool are just biding their time while City will back Pellegrini. And LvG isn't going anywhere...... unless he doesn't sign any defenders. Though, yes, if a bigger club, like Blackpool come in for him then they miss their chance.
I still hope to see a day where Rodgers comes on unsuited and unshaved like Pochettino, and then goes full Brenton in the interview. If only to see whether Spurcats' head replicates the legendary scene from Scanners.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33161310 Why are the Scousers not biting City's hands off? Mind you, they've always been pig-headed.
Are Stoke in there just to take the piss? The rest are literally the hardest away fixtures for most teams and Stoke away is pretty ****, too. Rodgers will do well to hold onto his job, if he doesn't pull something major out of the hat. Most teams will drop a considerable number of points in those games, but the media won't pay any attention to that.
Arry might have gone a bit HIAG on us ... http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33257377 <quote> Redknapp added England forward Raheem Sterling should want to stay with Liverpool and improve "under a bright manager" rather than join rivals Manchester City. </quote> Which "bright manager" does he have in mind for the Mousers ??
It would seem that Sterling has singularly failed to detect Brenda's "brightness" and would rather **** off ASAP

Can't go wrong with that, I believe he has supported Liverpool all his life and has told Barca it's the only place he will leave them for
