He is. He and John Silver [Luke Arnold] kept me going through when I wasn't sure about it. I like the fact that the prequel is consistent with the tales that the old Billy Bones and the rest of the ageing crew talk about when they refer to Flint and Silver. It was also nice to know that when Billy Bones was either pushed or fell [I'm on EP2 of S2] from the ship, I knew he'd turn up again. [Oh come on, that's hardly a spoiler].
No, definitely not a spoiler! Toby Scmitz as Jack Rackham is also great, delightfully dissolute. A lot of the characters like Flint and Rackham, and Anne Bonney, are genuine historical figures of course, and it's fascinating to see how the writers weave the fiction in with the history.
Yep...he could get raging beri beri for all I care. Just as I wouldn't care if Saints won through to the FA Cup final because Chelsea lost out.
Bill Cosby admitted in a 2005 deposition that he obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with. He admitted giving the sedative to at least one woman. The Associated Press went to court to compel the release of the documents, and they were made public Monday. Cosby's lawyers had objected on the grounds that it would embarrass their client. Did you just add some of that? When I first looked it just said "cosby's lawyers objected on grounds it would embarrass client?"
Haha, very small chance I might be working on a project with Kylie in the near future. Not that I want to upset Fats at all....
I agree. I love watching him play! He's through now anyway so it's redundant, just seems like Murray doesn't really believe that he can beat Novak.
Well Murray beat him in straight sets in the final 2 years ago, and he's playing the best tennis of his life right now, so I doubt very much if that's true!
But he's lost to him numerous times since then. Can't remember where it was, but he was 2 sets down Novak in a final this year, then won the next 2 and then completely collapsed in the 5th losing 6-1 (if memory serves). He's in fantastic form at the moment and if he's going to beat him again I think this is the time to do it. But aside from dropping 2 sets to Kevin yesterday Novak has also looked very good. Federer is also playing some fantatstic tennis at the moment so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.
