London Evening Standard. That's wait until we haveva little more if before some of you go crazy.

He isn't Lionel Messi.

We'll be fine. If he had wanted to stay then he would have. Yet another player that says one thing and does another. [HASHTAG]#againstmodernfootball[/HASHTAG]

Having watched Jason McCarthy a few times, I would say that he wouldn't let us down if he made the step up, Yoshida is solid when he plays
But I have faith that the club will pull yet another rabbit out of the hat and sign someone top class before September 1st.

People talking as if he has signed with spurs already? As far as I see it, it could go either way. This is far from over, even the bookies still taking bets have moved us both to 5/6 now.

At least now we can acknowledge the elephant in the room: 4 different spells out due to injury last season (3 because of hamstring problems). That's a bit concerning for an expensive centre half and will only worsen with age.

If spurs sign him then they've got a fantastic chance of top 4, Providing Harry can hit the same heights. Just missing a CM

With RVP leaving UTD, I've got a feeling they may try their hand to get Kane this window. But if not you could well be right.

Thats interesting. Spurs drifting insted of their price shortening. They were 1/3 yesterday.

Maybe but doesn't take away from him being a very good player. I am not too down about it anyway, we will have a replacement lined up.

I am more pissed off if we have made Ron look clueless out the loop more than Toby going elsewhere .... Need Ron more than Toby:(

Good player, but having watched him at Atletico I don't think he is as good as some are making out. Still want us to sign him, but think we could quite feasibly get a replacement in who performs as well as him. The key to our defence is the defensive midfielders, so replacing Morgan well is key
