I'm just wondering if you have any superstitions you do before a Swans game or during? I have 3 superstitions. The first one is that I don't buy the home kit, I never have owned one, only an away kit. The 2nd one is that I wear them all at the same time, So last year I wore the Red and Black one to every game I went to, this year I will be wearing 3 shirts! The last one is that when we are under pressure in a game, I rub the number on my seat and pull the seat back and forth. Do you have any? Here are a few others footballers do! John Terry The defender wees in one urinal in the dressing room toilets at Stamford Bridge. If the spot is taken he waits until he can use it even though there are others free. Rio Ferdinand Pours water down his face in the tunnel before he enters the field and he jumps over every white line every time he steps on the ptich area. Gary Lineker Former striker didn't shoot at the goal during warm ups because he didnât want to waste a goal. He believed that in this way he will save the goals for the game. If he wouldnât manage to score in the first half he changed the shirt. Also if he had a bad run where he wasn't scoring he'd get a haircut. Adrian Mutu Declared: âCurses cannot touch me because I wear my underwear inside out.â
I like having a pint in the coopers before and sometimes after the game, that is it lol Don't believe in superstitions as its unlucky
when i was a teenager, i had pictures of all the players up on my bedroom wall. i'd put my hand over them in turn and wish them the best for the game ahead before i left the house. now i just get my kit on and go to the pub. simples!
Although I mostly only listened to games or streamed the odd one , I leave the room when there is a corner kick or a set piece near our box , wait a minute & sneak back in to see the result . I blame this solely on De Vries . I'll probably end this superstition at the start of this season .
I started a new superstition last season after seeing a load of people rub Ivors boot. I now like to give Ivor a pat on the ass... It sounds very gay I know, but it's a non sexual and encouraging pat. Honestly.
I give the the number 27 turnstile a tap everytime I go in to the Liberty! is anyone else missing it? The good thing about living in London is the train journey home, when it passes the Liberty, it always gives me a tingly sensation. Something special about that stadium!
