Hi H, nice to see a friendly face. I was about to talk to myself!! How are you doing?? The trip was nice, i am off to Alton towers with the same friend the weekend after this. Cant wait!!

The kids are great, no accidents today lol

 

Just having my Horlicks so will not be awake much longer. It started off grey and damp this morning, then dried up. Time to get on with my grenier door. This afternoon I was perched up my ladder when the cloud disappeared leaving me in boiling full bodied sun. Still I will take it easier tomorrow, and get my fluid levels back up.

Also had to set the sky+ as eldest has his awards presentation at school tomorrow night.

He gets 3 - one each in Maths, Science and ICT. Not bad considering he doesn't like it at school (LRS) since all his friends there disappeared off to go to a school (HS) for the cleverer kids. There was a mess-up with the marks given to go with his application for HS and as they were lower than he actually got, he missed out. Unfortunately, there are GCSE options at HS that would be better for what he wants to do so he has to make the best of it at LRS - not really the attitude to go into your GCSE courses with. I think that LRS wanted to keep at least one of the bright ones in his year there as it was the highest number they had applying to go to HS. Unfortunately for him and us, it was him.

 

I had to use the schools initials so I didn't get confused which one I was referring to!

 

LOL. i notice that after a while of reading/writing the same word over and over it always seems to be spelt wrong. Its annoying sometimes.
