    Haha at the "look for a job" bit now, trying to get an application in for a masters, if it's too late i'll look for a job to pass the time before I apply again next year.

    Did any of you lads just feel lost and vulnerable to the world after Uni, jeez I hate that feeling.

    My ex finished a biomed degree last year, she now works for a biotech startup and seems to be enjoying it. Well, business trips to Japan sound pretty good anyway!

    I've seen someone work it out as 27.5G by the way, which isn't actually that high. Hell of an accident though.

    Doesn't seem that high when you think how much speed got scrubbed off. Catch fencing obviously doing well to deflect the impact.

    Big congrats dude!!!

    Here's what you do now:

    Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a ****ing big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of ****ing fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the **** you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing ****ing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, ****ed up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future, choose life.

    And try have some laughs along the way! :)

    For more inspiration, here's some more lyrics you should listen to Manny

    Nerd hat time!

    195mph = 87m/s

    27.5G = 270m/s/s

    v^2 = u^2 + 2*a*s

    therefore

    s = (v^2 - u^2) / (2*a)

    s = (87^2 - 0^2) / (2*270)

    s = 7569 / 540

    s = 14.02m

    So basically thats saying the car lost all its speed in 14m if it decelerated uniformly, seems legit'ish'

    See, education does have it's uses, and on that note, congrats Eternal!

    That's fantastic news, EMSC. Very well done indeed.

    As for what to do, unless you have other plans, a Master's degree sounds the best bet. Besides, you have it in your public name. Long ago, although always highly respected, (e!)MSCS were probably less-important.
    ;)
    Congratulations.

    So technically, he'll be EMSCmsc? That is some homage to his favourite driver!

    Nah, nothing wrong with trying to accumulate letters! At least that's what I tell myself......

    I've accumulated a few - FMATT,MATT,CTA,TEP. To be honest half of them I dropped from my business cards ages ago as it just looks stupid, especially when some of them were got over 15 years ago, hardly seem relevant anymore. Think putting as many letters permanently after your name as possible was an 80's fad. Nowadays just chose the most important ones, look less of a tool!

    Yeah, I don't actually use any of mine, I've got a short name so the letters are longer than my name, which is daft.

    Fortunately my letters tend to supersede the past ones so I don't end up with a ridiculous line after my name. Although it can cause issues to explain I'm not that kind of doctor <laugh>
