Dustin Brown vs Nadal on now, Really good match. Brown always worth watching cause of his maverick style.

 

Nadal out in the first week again then... four years in a row. Media still reporting this as a shock upset. How stupid, his form is to do exactly this at Wimbledon

Brown played a great aggressive game and did what the other three who have beaten Nadal at Wimbledon years previous by dominating him, he's a more stylish and expressive player than both Rosol and Darcis, but generally not on the same level as Kyrgios (apart from today!!)

He disrupted Nadal's style, didn't let him get into a rhythm and took time away from him so he couldn't set up the bug baseline groundstrokes. Mixed it up nicely with some great net play / serve and volley, whilst also mixing in some power hitting

Good comeback from Lisicki as I predicted earlier

Federer making serene progress but is yet to be troubled by the nuisance of quality opposition

Easy meat for Murray too so far

Serena absolutely slaughtering Heather Watson. I got 15/8 on Serena not dropping serve against my mate. If i could though (i don't gamble vs bookies as my missus isnt happy) i would back that serve ever game against watson

Can't believe Watson took Serena to 3 and served for the match. Credit where it's due. But still find her annoying. Can believe that she bottled it and wasn't able to serve it out for the win. Champion at one end, newbie at the other. If a better more experienced/seasoned player had played Serena in that form today they would've beaten her as she played a poor match by her standards. Still showed her champions pedigree though by winning

Dimitrov out... no surprise really, guy has a v good game but squanders it all the time, he'll be a nearly man for his whole career this one

Kyrgios and Goffin both thru... both players I like for different reasons, Kyrgios I like his attitude and bad boyishness, Goffin is the opposite, very reserved and calm

Cilic has got himself involved in another epic longest match contender with Isner... play stopped at 10-10 in the fifth to finish tomoz

in the women Bencic went through... she's one to watch imo, Sharapova and Venus Williams both in cruise control

Lol. Good reporting. I caught the first set and the third set when serena was 0-3 down. From what i saw serena made a lot of errors. Was that more down to heathers defensive tenacity or serena not putting her chances away? Also her serve went crappy!

 

Just Serena having an off day as she is prone to doing... goes awol mentally sometimes but has the guns to get back in it and win once she sorts the head out
