    Unsettling whatever his position, but how he actually feels will depend on where he wanted to end up. Wants to come here...he will be hopeful. If he was on way to Spurs for a medical...he will be seriously pissed off. If the latter, I guess we are after compo as I doubt we want another Morgan situation. If we do, Les Reed must have balls of steel.

    I guess if Atletico have messed him around he may be amused, however if he had set his sights on joining one club and now this may not be possible then he may be peeved. Hopefully this all works out for us :)

    Have a look at your Preferences (click your user name at the top of the page). Sometimes if you enable the Profanity option it allows you to see media like Twitter and YouTube.

    I have a gut feeling that Spurs will go ahead and sign Toby, then Saints will take legal action against AM and it will count for absolutely nothing. Toby will end up being a Spurs player. AM will get a finger wagged at them and Saints will be left empty handed and shy of a top class defender which their closest rival will have poached from under their noses with not a stain on their character. The problem is, we play the game/deals honourably. Others are not so bothered.

    Not out of the question for us to financially offer more than Spurs (in terms of fee, and signing on fee) and then try to claim it back through the courts...

    Damn that 6 mil buy-out clause seemed crazy to me at the time, what were they thinking? Atleti have lossed this either way now, 11 mil is still a bit of a steal.
