If Levy had been Arsenal chairman, they'd have won the title by now

If Levy had been Arsenal chairman, he'd have sold RVP and bought Emile Heskey.

Can you actually imagine if we'd had that bald little Shyster running our club. **** me, he would have sacked Wenger and brought in Fat Sam, then MON, then Owne Coyle, then Fat Sam again, then Moyes, then some Jaques Santini lookalike, then Fat sam again ......

We'd have sunk faster than a stone.

  6. If he had done either of those things - which I doubt, as he always looks to keep a hold of his best players, and if he is forced to sell he always manages to get absolute top dollar (he still holds the record of having sold the world's most expensive player) - the worst that could ever be said of him is that he won't have won either the Prem title or the CL over the last 9 seasons, which is exactly where you are now, but with a far inferior record for balancing your books out of sales, than the mighty Spurs.

However, I believe that his shrewd business would have seen you romp the title more than once, and I am fairly certain that you wouldn't, now, be playing a very poor second fiddle to the Chavs.

  7. Yes, because that's what he's done with Spurs!

  9. Levy and Wenger would have made a devastating partnership!

Think about it (without any wumming, please).

What the **** are you talking about ?

Levy always sells his best players and then buys **** ones to replace them. He balances the books, but achieves **** all on the pitch. Great stewardship <laugh>

You've gone into that parallel dimension again haven't you HIAG ?

  12. Levy sells his best players only if he is forced into doing so. A fleeting knowledge of the cases of Berbatov and Modric will inform even the dimmest pundit on that score.

With your club's ability to bribe players to stay, even when they kinda know they aren't going to achieve anything in their careers, would have been right up Arsenal's alley. Imagine if you'd had players like Berbatov, Modric, and Bale!

**** me! You would have creamed your keks on a regular basis, PISKIE!

  13. Ah, that's a shame, mate! That you had to wum. I was very much hoping that we'd be able to keep this discussion on the straight and narrow.

The 12 failed Spud managers since Wenger arrived have seen the Frenchman win two doubles, three titles, one unbeaten season. 5 FA cups, a Champions League final and a higher finish than the spuds in EVERY Season.

All hail the bald midget, what wonders he would have done at Arsenal <laugh>

Wenger would have had Spurs in top 4 and CL for last 20 years !
It's a shame that Spurs can't get a quality manager (or give them time to become one)

  17. I certainly believe that Wenger would have been able to match what Harry did. Yes, I will give you that.

Did Harry do all of that then ?

the answer is no he didn't do all that. Harry saved Spurs from relegation and also took them into CL once - that's not the same achievement that Wenger has delivered
