Williams chief technical officer Pat Symonds to BBC Sport: "No we are not going to say let him through, we will allow them to race, it is the Williams way.
"It gets the heart beating but it is the way we choose to do it.
"We told them not to race while we sorted out how we thought Mercedes reacted to the race position. We'll see what happens now. We have the pace at the moment, it is a difficult place to overtake, it will all happen around the pitstops."

I disagree . This why I LOVE the Williams team . The constructors title always has and always will be there main goal .

Problem is that by holding him back they've probably cost him (and therefore the team) points.

Does anyone here believe team orders are good ? I for one don't .

 

Depends on the situation. Hamilton ignored a team order last year when Rosberg was quicker and held him off and caused all sorts of problems. That was not a good move from Mercedes as they were fighting for the Championship. Today though there was a definite case for allowing Bottas ahead of Massa.
