I don't mind some Hamilton articles, but it's to the complete exclusion of everything else. Nothing on how Verstappen moaning like crazy turned out to be due to a broken anti-roll bar, or Williams out qualifying Ferrari, even Kimi doing a decent job under pressure isn't mentioned. Or how Benson leapt to declaring Alonso would get disqualified for using Button's rear tyre, when it's actually just a reprimand - just like when Force India did it last year. Instead, we get "Gossip: Hamilton celebrates pole by taking dog for a ride". That's not even Gossip, its just the latest from Hamilton's social media, and it steals attention from actual Gossip, like Aston Martin returning with Red Bull. Yes it's the British GP, and Hamilton is the lead British driver, but when all Benson seems to do is bash his face against a keyboard and call it an article, is it too much to ask for some other stories to get covered too?
I do agree, but all that happens on here is Benson bashing about Hamilton articles. Is less newsworthy now than most of the articles he writes! The other features, videos, interviews, behind the scenes is far more balanced across many teams and drivers. Perhaps attention should be drawn to that if others don't want to read about who is on pole if it irks them that much? It's not like Benson can replace an article with a 3 hour Kimi Raikkonen interview.............
What else is there to 'headline' from the qualifying session? Even you complained that they're all lined up Noah's Ark style! edit: having actually looked at the 3 named 'Hamilton' articles (I assume you haven't even bothered to do that Manny), one is simply the live-update thread from qualifying, one is quali highlights, and the other is the write of qualifying!, Two of them at least take quite long look at the rest of the grid away from The Messiah! Maybe Benson should change the titles to 'nothing much to see here, same as normal' then you won't get so pissy about it?
Weather maps still giving possibility of rain showers, if they come they will be heavy so could mix it up a bit (or at least throw out a safety car to haul the field back to the Mercs).
Both Williams got mega starts! The Mercedes both got away well, they were pulling away from the third row Ferrari's
Well this is a bit of a surprise. I hope they haven't accidentally massively underfueled the Williams.
Think it will take a while for the Mercs to get through. Will probably happen at the pitstops. For now, race on!
