    The idea of beating Germany with a penalty seems quite nice, no matter whether the match means something or not.

    Well done girls. The lass sure can take a penalty, can't she!

    I thought the Germans were complete arses in extra time - really poor attitude. Shameful to argue with the ref over a clear penalty decision, shameful to try to mess with the penalty-taker, and shameful of the same player to start pushing Williams off the pitch when she was leaving it at a perfectly acceptable pace. I hope that German grows old alone and bearded.

    Why do the ref and linesmen get medals? I'm sure it's nothing new but it's a bit ridiculous. They could give the worst performance possible and still get medals.
